You’d think the Habs would want to get someone younger for their rebuild. Monahan 29 vs Kuzmenko 27? Might as well keep Monahan.

That is a bad trade between the habs and Canucks if it happens. The Canadians are rebuilding. Why would they chance his salary cap at age 27? And to send a good defenseman and third or second line proven center? No thank you to whoever came up with that one
It's kuzmenko's play without the puck that isn't good. He is very perimeter and only tries intercepting passes and is caught not moving his legs reaching alot on the back-check. He has to start separating the opposition from the puck using his body otherwise he will have to be traded as being a healthy scratch is no benefit to the team
Let’s go Calgary, you have an opportunity with Ottawa to get a winger, so we can put Kubalik with the useless $10.5 million player.

would like to see the montreal/vancouver trade. i think monahan could slide right on to the top line with pettersson and kovecevic is a big RH d man that the canucks are in short supply of.
Dont think we need another science project in mtl. Would love to give up some draft picks and 1 or two of our d prospects for more of a sure thing. A consistent 40 goal scorer would be nice to see for once
Sabres and Ottawa have such great young players, too bad they can't put it together. Allen will go to a contender.
Do not see why the Habs would have any interest in a struggling Kuzmenko, given their status as a rebuilding team. Makes no sense.
Sabres would need to give something else with Comrie to be able to trade him. I mean Raanta and Campbell are better than him, and they cleared when put on waivers…
Honestly not the worst idea for Montreal to try Kuzmenko if that’s the deal. Monahan is on a one year and Montreal is about to run into a real log jam on D so Kovacevic is more than expendable… it’s pretty close to fair imo
For those keeping tabs I think there are some teams in Mexico that Jake Allen has not been rumoured to be traded to…
