That was clusterfuck of mistakes, Danforth fucked us there and icing was terrible
Had no business winning that game, so i’m happy with a point.
But good god i’m tired of us blowing third period leads and losing by 1. We’re the fucking Nebraska Cornhuskers on ice
Tarasov looked pretty darn good, and would have probably had the W if the defense showed up even a little.
Why the hell didn’t Johnny get off the ice? He was TERRIBLE.
Seemed like only a couple guys had their legs tonight. Really lifeless game throughout. HELL OF A JOB by Tarasov to keep them in it for so long.
1. Tarasov did well.
2. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt on the second half of a back to back but the third period turtling HAS to end.
3. I like Danforth, but he should never be starting OT, not ahead of Fantilli.
Did that idiot head coach not put Fantilli on in OT again?

Of all the options you had to start at center in OT, you chose Danforth… This coach man lol.
1. Tarasov kept us in this game big time and at least got us a point. Glad he is looking better
2. Boys looked absolutely gassed after the 2nd period, too much energy spent last night I guess
3. Fantilli continues to show us that he is the future of this team

Incredible! The consistency is truly astonishing! We are SO close to having this season be a completely different storyline. Every game seems to be just an unfortunate coin flip. Obvi it’s not just luck but also broken mental fortitude and missing confidence causing these near misses. But at least we’re SO close. I seriously am holding out hope that we’re going to figure something out and go on a tear. One of those 12 game winning streaks that we did like 5 years ago. Legitimately get into the playoffs picture. I legitimately still believe it to happen
The raging boner that Pascal has for Danforth is going to hold this team back.
It was an inexcusable 3rd period, if we’re absolutely real. They turtled from minute 1.
With hindsight a point is ok, but the same problems are still here. They still turtle in the 3rd period, they hung Tarasov out to dry like Elvis and Martin previously, and then OT. Why is Fantilli not out there? I love Danforth but he shouldn’t have touched the OT ice. That shot was atrocious.
It’s hard to get blisteringly mad over this one but I’m still disappointed.

Why the fuck does Vincent insist on starting Danforth on the first line in OT over KJ or Fantilli? He’s done it like 4 games in a row now and it literally never works
Real quick: In a sea of terrible, terrible coaching decisions, bringing in Backstrom as the head goalie coach was the right move. Elvis has turned his career around and Martin was very serviceable before Tarasov’s return off IR.
BRAD.LARSEN.2.0 AKA PASCAL VINCENT ONCE AGAIN SNATCHES DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY. Yet once again with the Jackets having a 3rd period lead Pascal Vincent goes into the turtle, has his team collapse around the goalie and just throw the puck down the ice and let’s the other team shoot over and over and over again while he once again tries to run out the clock, and he once again proves that if you keep letting the other team shoot over and over again, they will score, as they’ve now done countless times against the BradLarsen2.0/Pascal Vincent turtle.
And then he uses another mind-boggling OT lineup so that when the Jackets get a beakaway, it’s not Fantilli, or Chinakhov, or Marchenko, or KJ, it’s… Justin Danforth who misses what should’ve been the winning goal. This jackass is the only coach in the NHL who doesn’t play his top skill players in OT, but instead sends out bottom 6 players. Pascal Vicent and his inept, incompetent, logic defying coaching is why the CBJ have blown so many 3rd period leads and lost so many overtime games. Get rid of this disastrous clown show on training wheels of a coach and bring in someone who has shown they can actually win in the NHL. The players and fans deserve as much.
