Je ne vois pas assez de conversations sur le manque absolu de structure défensive des Islanders cette année et l’année dernière. La différence entre les styles de coaching est folle.

The defense has also been quite injured this year and Sorokin was a brick wall last year.
We changed styles to more up tempo run and gun which is why certain players are struggling and others excelling. We need to have more responsibility in our own zone for sure but we’re also down 3 of our top 6 d man and all 3 of our best defensive d man. We’re also only getting really good goal tending not amazing like last few years. Goaltending covered a lot of problems we had in the past
genuine question, are you not on this sub much? because the lack of defensive structure this team has under Lane vs. Trotz has been discussed ad nauseam
