Oh dear, I did not care for that. I don't care how old he is. Really annoying.
He is talented and good, I will give him that. But for myself, I don't like the Anthem rocked out or sounding like hip hop voices all over the place renditions. I like the version and style I learned as a kid and think that is only way to perform the Anthem! I already know my opinion is definately in the minority, but I don't like all this varying styles. Some of his playing also sounded very distorted and over played in parts.
Jimmy did it first and it sounds a lot like the. Hendrix version.
