it’s honestly kind of impressive how he could put up that offensive production on two completely different teams, a completely stacked team and a extremely top-heavy team. he kinda carried in 2017 but obv not to this magnitude
i feel like usually guys that explode offensively do it on one or the other, not both. either they’re buoyed by incredible teammates or everything runs through them. idk if that’s true throughout hockey history tho. but i guess any time you’re in conversation with guys like mcdavid and jagr it’s good no matter what
