L’Avs pourrait véritablement compter quatre joueurs parmi les 30 meilleurs de la LNH avec MacKinnon, Makar, Rantanen et Nichushkin. Ils pourraient également avoir l’un des pires partants de la LNH. Georgiev keeps letting soft ones. That 5 hole goal from beyond the point was not good
Georgiev is the weakest link on this team as much as Kuemper was 2 years ago.
That hat needs to be washed 🤢🤮
Georgiev had a bad night no doubt. That said, he has NOT been the problem all season. There are way more games where I feel bad for Georgiev because we left him out to dry all night
Like I keep saying. We have Dallas on Thursday, Florida on Saturday, then Boston and then Vegas. You can't let these soft goals go on these teams.
I'm not sure if stats or analytics back this up, but I think I've noticed a trend with georgiev. It seems like after having a night off the first game back is pretty rough, but then the next two are solid and then as he plays for a longer stretch he gets more and more inconsistent.
You say it's a made up call, but how many times have we seen Makar called for interference for that exact same play?
It was a bad night from Georgiev, but if you give NHL players uncontested and unobstructed shots from within the red dots then those are going to turn into goals lmao. The first 3 goals against are all exactly that
If the Avs made a trade for a netminder at the deadline, who would that be?
I was a constant apologist for the Giorgiev the first 30 games of the season but I can't do that anymore. You're a starting goaltender in the NHL for a team that has pretty recently won a Stanley Cup and is in the running for another. I get it that defensive breakdowns make your job harder, but you are the last line of defense. It is literally your job to stop pucks from going into the net.
It is a highly competitive league, and so far this year it seems like it at least 70% of the defensive mistakes being made are ending up in the back of our net and that just can't happen. The dude doesn't need to be a shutdown goalie, he literally just needs to be consistently average. We proved that by winning a cup with Kuemper.
You need better from him if you want to win a cup.
Great game review!
Got to start looking to trade for a goalie. Wasn't a fan of the trade for Georgiev but was hoping he'd prove me wrong. He's getting worse.
😂
Great start Rudo-its actually how most of us feel. I actually agree with all your video. You hit the 1st 2 allowed-not all on Giorgiev,& not egregious-but ones you'd like to see a save. But goal allowed #3 was just ridiculous-if an AHL goalie let's that in-you are pissed…hell a youth goalie. But an NHL goalie basically can never let that go in.
