It was cool for the first 10 seconds, then it was a bit much. It was very shrill at times and I can only imagine how hard it was on the ears live in the arena. I play guitar so I probably enjoyed it more than the average person but it was insane at times. So much wah. So much whammy.
But seeing dude is a comedian, I could 100% see this being a bit and he knew just how silly he was being. If so kudos to him. I checked his [wiki page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Hill_(comedian)) and one of the first lines has made me want to dig deeper.

Idk if it’s just a coincidence but it seems like every time the Leafs play in the states, the anthem singer/performer feels like someone they brought in off the street without vetting them first.
I was also LoLing at this performance last night and was thinking about how much composure it takes for the athletes to not be laughing knowing they’re on camera
