Well everyone is picking the avs out of the west. People love the shiny flashy #1 big name lines. The only problem with that is the blues were able to completely shut down the top line from every opponent last playoffs. I see this being the same type of situation. If the blues get back to that smothering style and are able to shut down the top lines, they should repeat. They have to play physical right out of the gate.
Die hard Sharks fan here. Give credit to the Blues. Dead last after the New Year to Stanley Cup Champions by the summer.

Man the top four of the west is going to be a murderers row. St Louis – first in the west and reigning champs, enough said. Colorado Avalanche – High Octane Offense with growing power on the back end and Francouz turning himself in to a game stealer. Vegas -little older, little wiser, picked up some pieces and seem to find ways to add to the arsenal, picking up Robin Lehner as a back up makes I would say the best tandem of the four Combine that with how last year ended they want retribution. Dallas – A team that wants to show this isnt a fluke and has a bit of a chip on their shoulder, their goal scoring may be the out of the four the worst, but they seem to make people pay for each one with a couple hits.
If we go top 4 from the top 4 of the west. I like the west a lot. I think the west takes the cup.
