I think this team has been better than it has been in the past 20 years since the 2006 run. If you look at the statistics, their 5o5 has been the key improvement among their defensive play. This team if they keep it up could be dangarous heading into the post season.

A goalie landing a check into the boards is the definition of a clipable moment. It's not even in the game recaps on Sportsnet and the NHL when it prevented an open netter.

It’s amazing that he puts up five points, and all five of them are good enough to be on the career end highlight reel for most players, even most hall of fame quality players. But for him… just another day at the office. I still think that goal he scored against the rangers is the single most beautiful goal in NHL history.
