Sounds about right. The only good team the Sens consistently play well against are the Leafs

So we’re just bad no matter how you slice it hahah

Ooof and looking at Detroit’s schedule this month, season done. Who wants Ghost and Perron?

It always bothers me how no one bothers to change our logo to the Kachina, even though it’s been our main logo for like 3 years
Even the NHL does it sometimes

I thought the Canucks would be the ultimate scrub farmers, but it’s actually LAK? Very interesting. I wouldn’t have expected that. Especially not at that margin, that’s wild – 88.2 vs 78.6, and then the next 7 teams after the nucks are within 5%!
Gonna be a very interesting brawl to close this season in the Pacific

I feel like the only bottom team the Sharks have even played was the Ducks and that was when they were still a decent team.
I guess they also caught Edmonton at their lowest

I can’t wait for us not to get the first overall pick. You know it will happen 🙃

LA Kings fraud watch?

At least we’re consistent

Before the Winter Classic, the Kraken were 50% against the top teams, and 50% against the bottom teams. Now they’re 52.4% against the top teams.

Vegas, Islanders and Penguins stand out as teams that rise up against good teams and get lazy against weak teams.

Hopefully this translates to the playoffs for BOS.

So the red wings still suck hey
Quantum_Aurora
Bruins, Knights, Isles, Kraken, Ducks, and Hawks all somehow have better records against the top teams.
Zanchbot
This is worrying. Kings are at least beating the teams they *should* beat, but to struggle against top teams is not a great indicator of future success.
Swoopitywhoop
I wonder how much of this has to do with the goalie the team puts in against good vs bad teams?
CaptainPeppa
Calgary timed their season horrifically.
Lets play like absolute ass against the bottom tier teams then when we start playing well it’s like 15 straight playoff teams.
Patmank56
Gotta love playing to your competition. A nice 50 percent for both for us lol.

Got to admire San Jose’s consistency here…

I’m amazed we aren’t worse against bottom teams.

I thought the yotes were King slayers what happened to that

Very impressed with the Jets consistency this season. In past years bottom half teams and high pressure games for first were their nemesis.
At this point in the season the data changes a lot day to day, so you can’t read too much into it right now. It becomes more meaningful by the end of the season.
It turns out the ability (or inability) to win against good teams is a strong predictor of playoff success (or failure). The ability to win against bad teams is not a predictor of playoff success.
If you have a losing record against the good teams then you have almost no chance of winning the cup, regardless of where you finish in the overall standings. The last time it happened was 1997, when the Red Wings won the cup with a .444 win% against the good teams.
