Horrible effort offensively the third line has bailed out the lack of consistent production from our top 6 however tonight it wasn’t enough. Need our top 6 to perform in tough fought games especially the playoffs.
Game was lost on the faceoffs. Ratio was at least 2:1. A pretty bad and alarming stat to look at for Tocchet if Canucks are going to mount a challenge on this challenging road trip series.
And why on earth would they decide to leave out Kuzmenko? Sure he hasn't scored that much, but he can add more potency to their attack. They struggled without him up front.

I was supposed to go to the Blues and Hurricanes game, but my advanced age cat(~17) hasn’t been eating or drinking anything for the last 40 hours. I’ve watched the Blues games on the couch with him cuddled up with me for the past nearly 13 years. It doesn’t look like he’s gonna make it through the night, so I’m glad I got to watch one more win with him.
When Kuzmenko is not in the lineup the Canucks are better defensively…However, they are also weaker offensively when Kuzy is made a healthy scratch, especially on the Powerplay that looks feeble & useless without him…Head coach Rick continues to make Kuzmenko his whipping boy, & tonight it backfired & blew up in his face big time… Still 6 games to go on this road trip…Hopefully the Canucks can get their offense going when they face the Devils on Saturday…

Canucks are 3-6 without Kuzmenko in the lineup… Tocchet seriously needs to stop healthy scratching him. Lafferty is not a top 6 forward and Karlsson did absolutely nothing.
Canucks started as usual, one goal on two shots. But then some defensive mistakes cost them the game, when the attack was this time not producing.
Our top line was almost invisible. Good effort from the 3rd line

Demko should have been named to the All-Star team over Cam Talbot. Granted Hughes would have to have been left off but the fans would have voted for him, Demko won't get the votes, as a third goalie most votes will go to Vegas' Marc-Andre Fleury because he's most likely going to retire after this season. Demko got screwed I think.
