Something lost on this is Laffy is on pace for 50 points and I’d venture to guess about 90-95% of them are 5v5. If he was on a PP1 he’d be on a PPG pace this year
Trocheck is such a pleasant surprise this season. I’ve always liked him but he really found another gear.
McDavid about to pass MacKinnon in about a week and a half. The guy is a machine.
by the end of the year, McDavid will have the most points. Oilers playing well with new coaching and a competent goalie. Be nice if Panarin can crack 100 points

Obviously it’s great that Rangers have some high end scorers. I wish / hope that Laf takes that next step in his development and I think he can get there with the growth he’s shown this year.
Honestly I think we have a lot of the pieces to contend this year. Need to tweak the bottom 6, have Igor and Fox play to their full capabilities, get healthy (Kakko/ Chytil), and add one more impact piece.
Not sure who or how but I really think the play is to let Chytil heal until the playoffs and use his cap space at TDL for a two-way center. IF Chytil comes back then you have another quality player in the fold but if not then it’s probably a medical / health decision and being proactive at the TDL should pay off.
I genuinely don’t think there’s any other 2C in the league I’d want right now besides Trocheck. Dude is thriving this year.
