Put kaprizov with boldy and Rossi or ek and see what happens. Let them create some chemistry and don’t worry about this year record wise. We need a good draft position with the cap issues so don’t worry about wins. Let these guys be creative and see what they can do. If the Wild suck all year but you keep kaprizov and Rossi and boldy happy, you win future years. Just my opinion.
Bill Guerin has shown that he will push mediocre winning instead of getting younger players needed ice time. Guerin is no different than Fletcher.

Look just from a mathematical perspective, trading Kirill is #1 on the to-do list for a rebuild. It's nothing personal, and getting a 1st back for him would be a TREMENDOUS return and would help absolve some previous bad decisions by this club, going back to Fletcher.

The better option would be to bull-doze the Excel Center, move the Wild to Houston TX, and start fresh with a completely new organization in 2025…….My suggestions for names are as follows: Minnesota Muskies, St.Paul Perch, Minnesota Lumberjacks, Minnesota Loggers, and another great option would be Minnesota Whitecaps (since that team folded)
JP & Double K, Uncle Leo had the word 'rebuild" removed from his dictionary and vocabulary. It scares him to death. Apparently, he has also demanded that Billy G not use the word either. The trouble is that this club needs one and needs it badly. There are only a handful of components here now that could be a part of a Cup winner. The cap issues have only forced the team to put this type of roster on the ice while killing time to get past them. I haven't heard many people discuss this, but I think the team's biggest obstacle over the years has been its perennially poor draft positioning. Some of the GMs have made some decent selections all things considered but this club has never got to choose near the top and IMO that has hurt them badly. The Deano dismissal just bought BG some time before he is sent packing as well…
