I still think we are being too pretty with the puck trying to make a perfect shot and we hit the glass
What got me was the double minor to Cozens, then the refs bringing the puck outside the zone.
The Canadiens player started punching Cozens in the face, who just tried shoving him back after Allen covered the puck, then a second Canadien came in a started punching him too!
Cozens BARELY deserved 2:00 and with the Canadiens instigating it, the faceoff should have stayed in the zone. VERY questionable on that one.

I’m sick of the Levi sucks comments … all year the goals he’s let in haven’t been his fault for the most part . His composure and lateral speed is HOF level . I get the there “should be a vet “ with him argument but who ? Bunch of good things to take from the game. Thompson with 2 goals, Levi solid in net, Quinn looking good. What about Skinner, if he's not the deadliest top-shelf sniper in the league, I don't know who is.

PROS:
– Kept to no goals against in the 1st period (thats been huge for this team)
– 2 PP goals (but stop overpassing and blind passing)
– Top 2 lines were roaring!
– Skinner amazing!
– Levi had key saves when needed
CONS:
– Dahlin is has been making so many boneheaded decisions lately
– Gotta stop giving SHG and oddman rushes against
– Levi does lose track of puck more than I would like.
Final thought, Sabres need a good 4 or 5 wins in a row for me to believe they are turning things around. Dahlin got allstar but he doesn't deserve it, should have been Skinner or Mittelstadt.
We need more Clubber Lang showings

Glad they put a show on for you last night! Last year it was a 7-2 laugher in Montreal that broke the Sabres out of their funk. I hope this 6-1 laugher in Montreal can break Buffalo out of their funk. But who knows?
Nice win, now keep it up. I'm sick of watching Mittelstadt getting pushed around and just not responding. This team isn't angry enough. Montreal is going to be a handful when they eventually have both Xhekaj brothers in the lineup.
Let's Go Buffalo! My random thoughts on the game… Levi was stellar last night, really made some big saves when we needed it. That Erik Johnson play was kind of scary., glad he avoided a serious cut. Cozens needs to start shooting the puck instead of always trying to force a pass when he's already in prime real estate. Nothing against Comrie but Levi and UPL are the Sabres best chance at making a run.

I have a stupid question, Wayne; since you are from Canada, and I think you mentioned Montreal, why are you a Sabers fan? I am a Bruins fan because, well, I am from New England, Really close to Boston, and my cousin was a Die Hard Bruins fan along with my Neighbor at the time. I would go over sometimes with my dad, and he would watch the Bruins games.
