Everyone talking about how lane didn’t produce like expected but homie logged massive minutes against each teams best lines and power plays. USA had insane offensive talent up front and he did what was needed to win

Watching Lane at the World Juniors actually has me higher on Lane than previous. I always thought he would be a good offensive producer but wasn’t sure about his defensive game. I thought he would be a PP guy but not do much outside of that.
It’s clear after watching this tournament he has the ability to log big minutes and play defensively when called upon, he didn’t put up huge numbers but what he did controlling the game and shutting down opposing teams best players is almost more impressive to me.
I think we have a good one here.
