    Daws is the reason it wasn’t 10-2 after then 2nd. He did what he could under constant siege.

    He did make several great saves that kept the game from getting crazy. But he also allowed at least two that are of the type that if Vitek were in net people would have complained and said ‘you can’t let that in.’ Mixed bag.

    The only goal that was unacceptable was the wraparound in my opinion other than that I thought he was very very solid and definitely not his fault we lost

    I’d say considering our lack of defense and the fact we let Vancouver park in the offensive zone and unload 42 shots ! He played pretty well minus the wrap around . He put more effort in than any of our defensemen . Cracks me up , people wanted Luke for the all star game. Based off what? His defense is far from mediocre as he can’t get it out of the zone. He like most of our defense, wait until they are on top of them before trying to pass or clear which turns into a turnover then usually the back of our net.
