What happened in Vegas needs to stay the fuck in Vegas
Too many games we just get absolutely shelled in a period with no adjustments.
Said it last game and I’ll say it again. How this team is still 3rd in the division is beyond me.
i’m not sure how much longer we can carry on with this defense in the state it’s in. can we get another league wide covid pause again or something
Ugly game. Ugly road trip. Division is starting to heat up. Not dooming but definitely getting worried.
This game was a great example of why we’re in the mushy middle of the Metro. Even the eyeball test says we’re at least a step or two behind the league’s contenders. It feels like about the worst possible place a team can be is good, but not good enough, and that’s right where we are and it’s frustrating.
I don’t think they played abhorrently. When the Vezina-caliber goalie plays like that against the defending Cup champions, the result is probably going to be a loss. The third line did look terrible and it seems as if it’s always two steps forward and three steps back with them this year. On to the next one.
Any idea when we’re firing lane? Or when pellech gets back? Or when we try a defensive structure that doesn’t involve 1-2 players aimlessly skating with noone????

The only thing I’m thankful about is that everyone else in the division we needed to lose tonight lost too
Lack of structure, no discipline for stupid plays. A rule in every sport, don’t pass to the middle in your defensive zone. Happens a lot with this team. Fun game to be at though, hopefully things turn around
Well, at least the TV crew actually traveled to the game for once.
