Good game for them, but 1-0 until the final minute of the 2nd period. 3-1 with 8 minutes to go for a team that has given away leads. I'd hardly call that "cruising" to a victory.

They're getting what they need…good goaltending. But one goalie can't carry the team for long. If Woll comes back soon and gets up to speed in short time, and Jones continues playing like he has, this team is going to rise in the standings quickly. If, and it's a big if, the D can improve, they'll be a team to be reckoned with during the playoffs.
The Leafs dominated that game totally and Blackwood was so very sharp as the shots against him eventually broke his defense help. Jones was really good as I was praying for another shutout for him but as fate would have it a great play outsmarted his reaction to rip that SO away. What a nice game to enjoy.
This is why we are the best franchise because we have so many fans in away arenas. Also we're #1 revenue or atleast top #5 every year. I pay $1000s to go to a leafs game and struggle to pay my bills cause that's how loyal we are.
