It was a well earned win
US was a decent team
Not the best team in the tournament. But hard work and gelling together as a team produced a favorable result.
Watching the tournament games. For most of the tournament the best team was clearly the Swedes. But something happened to them and their game was off for the last few games.
Some take aways from the tournament
Fins start off brutal but find their game only to get whacked in what is one of the most replayable games i've seen in a while by the Czechs.
The Slovaks came out of the gate a terror and then fell apart.
Canada never did find their game. Defensive holes and they just never really gelled up front.
Love the play of the Germans. Man that was the biggest surprise of the whole tournament. Not just the win no one saw coming, but the overall play. Very impressed by the improvement there.
