Le même soir, Seattle accroche une bannière pour la victoire des Metropolitans en Coupe Stanley en 1917 et remporte également sa première victoire à domicile dans l’histoire de la franchise.

Montreal ask Seattle if they want to have the Stanley Cup because Montreal want to give it up because of the 1919 Pandemic. Seattle declined the deal with the Montreal Canadians because that was not the Metropolitan’s Way, not Muldoon way (head coach), that’s not hockey.
So no one won the Stanley Cup in 1919.
