  1. As a Ducks fan I think both teams made out really well with this deal. Centers and D are positions of strength for Anaheim, so we dealt from our plethora of blue liners to land a winger, a position of weakness organizationally. Philly wanted and needed a RHD so I think this move could be the perfect fresh start for Drysdale where he doesn't have to worry about Zellweger, Mintyukov or Luneau coming for his spot. Jamie also helps the Flyers both now and in the future. Wishing him the best and can't wait for Cutter!

  2. Totally has nothing to do with Tortorella being a toxic neanderthal who can't develop youth, and despises the new era of elite talent.

  3. Kevin Hayes, albeit a slower developing NCAA player, didn’t want to sign with the Blackhawks after Stan Bowman told him to go back to university for his senior year, Bowman trades his brother Jimmy to the Panthers that year, and Kevin tells the Blackhawks to fuck off and runs out the clock to sign with the Rangers. Underrated Bowman fuck-up that may have cost the Blackhawks a Cup in 2014, 2016, and/or 2017.

  4. Anaheim is lingering in the basement so far this year….well they have Spring Training and the Angels to look forward to…oh wait…😂😂😂

  5. This has Kevin Hayes written all over it. If Cutter is that weak minded then he wouldn't have made it in Philly & deserves Ducks. Cutter also weak in corners & plays smaller than his size so this is for the best.

  6. When Jimmy Vesey decided not to go to Nashville as his college career was ending..he signed with Rangers..then went on a bit of an odyssey traded away after a few seasons..finally reuniting with Rangers later in his career.

Sometimes the stink you opt to make is personal immaturity or just being in a position to say the situation is not for you..

But the young player takes a risk..personally liked Drysdale a lot in early going with Anaheim..

  7. What a clown hahaha have funny play for the ducks one of the worst franchises in all of sports…. Philly actually cares about their team then ppl in OC DGAF about hockey hahaha wasted his whole Career away

  8. LMFAO the next Pierre Luc Dubois. Good luck with that Anaheim. I would never offer a player like that as penny. Toxic for the entire franchise. Kid is already a bust and didnt even make the big league yet. Wait for it. That mentality will not last in the big boys league.

  9. There gotta be something
Something has to put a bad taste in his mouth…..maybe bad interactions with someone in the flyers org?

  10. Call it petty or childish or entitled but I could respect not wanting to play for the Flyers if you're a Pens fan. Just be straight up about it from the get go. Don't get drafted by them, tell them you're all in, then ghost them like they're some regretful one night stand. Thats just so disrespectful.

This coming from a Pens fan that would be perfectly content if the Flyers never won another hockey game

  11. Where was all this hate for Adam Fox when he forced his way out of multiple teams to the rags. It's so incredibly SOFT when players pull this shit and should be penalized for it you're wasting a teams pick

  12. It’s funny when people say “imagine not getting to choose which city you get to work in” as if being a pro athlete is equivalent to managing a Popeyes. Or as if there wasn’t a respectful way of doing this.

  13. Why are people acting surprised? Bridges get burned between people every day lol. This is nothing new.

  14. Cutter just screwed the flyers so bad. Why tell them initially you will play for them.?He will boo’d so bad in Philly

  15. Spoiled rich kid getting what he wants, just like he has his whole life. Hope the Philly fans let him have it any chance they get.

  16. I dunno. Maybe he wants a shot at winning the Cup someday and maybe he sees that if Briere can't raise a son smart enough not to damage wheelchairs and act like a wanna-be thug then maybe he can't run an NHL franchise.

  17. Ray Bourque grew up a Habs fan but became a Bruins legend for 20+ years. If the story about Gauthier not wanting to be a Flyer because he grew up a Pens fan is true, then he’s even softer than I thought.

  18. He doesn't want to be a Flyer? One of the best organizations in the NHL. Someone got his ear and fed him some bad information.
So long Cutter, welcome Jamie Drysdale.
Seems like Cutter likes to read his own press clippings.
So long Cutter, we hardly knew ye.
You would have been treated like family.
    Go Flyers!

  19. Pens fan doesn't want to play for the Flyers? Makes sense. lol Although he could have just pulled a Lindros after being drafted if playing for one team was really an issue all along, and allowed them to work a trade with another team instead of BSing them that he did want to be a Flyer and then back out months later. I don't understand how this benefits anyone. That said, there could be an underlying issue we're not privy to that came up at some point that didn't sit well with Gauthier, and he simply said "F that team, I'm not playing for them". What would make a player do a 180 like that without cause? Did he finally see Gritty and say "Naw man, I just can't do it?" To just change his mind so long afterwards and the Flyers actions had nothing to do with him changing it seems shady. What I'm saying is: There's something we're not being told and it probably won't come out for years.

  20. Kid thinks he’s something, but he’s nothing he has an ego the size of a planet. He thinks because he’s won championships he gets to choose
