[JFresh] Avant l’embauche de MSL, les chiffres défensifs de Suzuki étaient superbes. Ils ont fait un plongeon majeur alors qu’il passait à un jeu plus rapide, mais sont maintenant de retour en territoire d’élite.

Can’t wait for Dach to come back next year so that Suzuki can get some help. Has been great defensively but a legit second line would do wonders for his offensive stats if he didn’t have to play against top lines/pairings all year.

I mean before St-Louis we had Danault to take on the most difficult match, under St-Louis Suzuki had to take the big difficult minutes. Make sense that his defensive number took a drop while he was adjusting to his bigger role and more difficult opposition.

I don’t think we’ve really seen how consistently good he can be yet. as we fill out our roster with more talent (and slaf continues to be a sasquatch on skates) I think we will see the points really start coming

Jfresh went on to say he’s the perfect shutdown 2C who can put up 60-70 points on a contender
We gotta hope Dach becomes the 1C or we draft one

Can we appreciate how Caufield is better defensively and to create plays too? His shot isn’t what it used to be before his injury but they’re both improving as hockey players imo

Not surprised. Now that they are more comfortable playing in the offensive system under MSL they can work on their defence.

Caufield offensive numbers also spiked and have now cooled off a bit
