Nice to see a tidy defensive game for the Canucks once they got a lead. That’s been one aspect that which had been lacking in some games. They looked very much like a top team in this win. Oh, and as a side note. Nobody should be trying to block Hronek’s shot. He took two victims in this game.
2:48 "referees still haven't done anything" .. buddy, you as a hockey commentator should know that the whistle wont blow if the offensive team has the puck in the o zone unless its something really really bad. You really thought refs were going to blow it dead as the Canucks are applying pressure?
islanders you need a new colour man. The guy barely knows the rules of the game. Dont know who he is but he might want to at least read the rule book. That was brutal. Back to the drawing board
I remember when we asked for Dobson in the Horvat trade and they rejected it fast one for one.. Too bad..I would have given up Horvat and a 1st for him As much as I like our depth. We still need to add a Top 4 D Man and a top 6 Gritty Winger who can out up 30 – 40 points a year
After watching the Rangers… and remembering the Devils play a few days before… can't believe how SLOW the Islanders are in comparison. If they don't have a powerplay or a bit of luck, they aren't anywhere near to being in the game.
we are all proud of you players, from the best to the least good, we see that you are finally playing calmly, humblely and as a team, all for one, one for all. don't lose your temper even when things get bad, be strong and united in good and bad times, we will always be with you. go guys go Canucks.
These were terrible highlights. The Canucks dominated the entire game and made the Islanders look like the Washington Generals. These highlights made it look like the Islanders were in the game and they weren’t at all.
