  1. I want Domi to get traded to the winnipeg jets because he would be a good player there and it would make sense so, Patrik Laine will be a good fit with the canadiens

  2. The reason why the Habs would trade Max is because he wants to play C and we have no room for him. Otherwise he's great and everything you want in a player. So the return has to be young early-mid 20s top 6 winger which similar pts potential or a high-end prospect + mid 1st round pick.

I'm not sure as a Habs fan that Laine is the best option but if it was for a package of about Domi, an NHL D, a D Prospect and maybe a 1st round pick, I think that would be about the max the Habs could do. There are other targets like Ehlers in Winnipeg, or Mantha in Detroit, or maybe a D like Hampus Lindholm in Anaheim which are interesting targets as well. Dumba would not be a bad trade although I'd ask for Minny's 1st round pick if I was the Habs.

  3. Idk why but I expect Domi to get traded to the Rangers as part of a blockbuster trade given that MTL has just acquired an extra left D and NYR desperatly needs Left Ds and depth at C, but I say he would be worth a highend prospect like Matthew Boldy but not like Kaprizov (future star Tarasenko 2.0). Habs need a scoring winger. Not a D and especially not a right D.

  4. Domi is not worth anywhere near the salary amounts being tossed around. He's basically a 3rd line centre on a half decent team. If he's so great, why are the Habs shopping him around? Probably because he's inflated his value (with his Dad's help). So what's he worth? Maybe 4.5m/yr x 3 years, or 2 years. He had a poor season, still wants tons of cash, so trading him makes sense. Are the Wild crazy enough to overpay him? It's possible. or the Sabres…

  5. Minnesota, Winnipeg and Montreal will make a major trade. All three teams have very specific needs. Montreal needs a scoring winger (Elhers) Minnesota needs a second line center (Domi) and Winnipeg needs an impact defense man (Dumba). there will be draft picks exchanged and a few roster players and /or prospects involved. But basically the teams need to address their immediate roster needs.

  6. The Habs could package Domi along with some younger guys plus picks to acquire a good scoring winger. I would not want to see Domi's value watered down to one mediocre winger plus players/picks. I don't know if MN can give that.

  7. IMO the Habs do not need an expensive $5 mill scoring winger (possible failure ala Drouin) . …. Byron 5-9/158 ….. Domi 5-10/192 ….. Tatar 5-10/183 ….. Drouin 6-0/197 ..… Lehkonen 6-0/176 ….. Mete 5-10/187 ….. Gallagher 5-9/184 .…. Weal 5-10/180 ….. Hudon 5-10/190 ….. Caulfield 5-7/162 ….. Suzuki 5-10/201 ….. Ouellet 6-0/196 ..… Teasdale 5-11/196. KEEP GALLAGHER, … LEHKONEN, … SUZUKI …. BYRON ….. The Rest out. The Habs need to replace their 2nd & 3rd line smurfs and replace with gritty players … Players to target are ……Anderson 222 pounds …. M. Foligno 224 pounds … Kreider 217 pounds … Jenner 208 pounds … Chiasson 208 pounds … Sundqvist 209 pounds…. Three of these guys for a total $6 million is a much much better plan of improvement.

  8. Seriously ? Max Domi had been on the trade block ? HA HA HA, wow what an incredibly wrong comment 🤣. Do you even know who he is ? Do you anything about hockey ? Thankfully I don't have to waste my time watching this drivel.
