It was fun watching Faber get his pocket picked for that first SHG last night.
Hell yeah! I appreciate this post. I’ve been a Stars fan for over 20 years and this group is so special! Tons of talent, no egos, every line is contributing & every player just wants to win.
Also, what an effort from « THE » Matt Murray getting the shutout. I wasn’t sure what we were going to get out of him but without him in net who knows how that game would have turned out.
Final thought here, WTF was going on with the refs in Minnesota? They had a serious hard-on for the Stars. I know all fans have a bias when it comes to penalties, but that shit was ridiculous! Too bad for everyone else… that was the key to our success.
Duchene at 3 million is such a ridiculous steal. Hopefully he really likes Dallas and decides that with the Preds paying him ~15 million dollars to not play for them that he’s okay taking another team friendly deal to stick around another year or two.
The Duchene deal was the best free agent signing of the summer and it’s not particularly close.
At this point, I think the Stars need to lock down Harley on an 8-year deal as soon as they can. Skip the bridge deal. It almost never benefits the team.
