Unless he did something really really messed up, why not give him a 1 yr deal for the rest of the season. We badly need some help holding down the fort with all the injuries

If what they’re saying is true and Palat will “not be ready soon” then sign him to league minimum (because that’s what he’s worth at this point) and have him fill palat’s role for the time being. Then when pally’s back he can take bastian’s spot on the fourth line. He has nothing to lose and neither do with with all these LTIR eligible players.

The biggest thing people are missing is that with Perry on the roster, I’m pretty the team is guaranteed a spot in the Stanley Cup final right? We would lose, but we’d still make it. I think those are the rules

I actually think it’s worth seriously considering as long as whatever off ice stuff wasn’t too bad. Some scoring depth on the 4th line would be nice, especially with McLeod looking like he’s gonna be at least the 3C, it would be great to have depth on the 4th line. Wouldn’t mind seeing Perry, Lazar, and Bastian on a line once everyone is healthy.
