From Winnipeg. I couldn't BELIEVE that trade happened for Winnipeg. It was always a steal for Winnipeg. They traded there hopes of a Cup to give us a hope at the Cup. The lines are all stacked up with talent now and both goaltenders are rising to the challenge. Both are clutch. Sorry LA
Having said that. If Dubois can concentrate on his game for once, who knows how high this young guy can achieve. Could round out to be one of the games top players

We don’t know anything until playoffs but r now I agree. Villardi can’t play center in this league, that’s why the trade was made. Would LOVE to see Winnipeg face LA in the playoffs. But for the record it was either Iafallo or Moore, one was leaving. We made that right choice. And btw we have about 13 Kuparis in the ranks.

As a kings fan myself and every other fan knew this trade was going to end up as a catastrophe. Nobody wanted Dubois here.
PLD only wanted to play for Montreal. Don't forget that. He will try to find a way to Montreal and will become next Jonathan Drouin. :p

Big news for me out of this is Kupari is healthy. Good thing!. So I guess we got 2 weeks then before his conditioning stint expires and we see if he can break the lineup… (Or they'll have to risk waivers / bench him.) Damn, this shows how extremely deep this team is. Kupari will have to play his ass off to make it back. (hope he does and I'm looking forward to him being the best version of himself)

It was a steal for the Jets, thanks to LA for taking our garbage, just like Columbus! Vilardi will always be welcomed as a far better player than Laine or Dubois ever will be. Those two are both very skilled on paper but have no work ethic and are pathetically lazy.

If the trade was made PLD for Vilardi straight up it would still be a win for the Jets but we got 3 additional pieces so even calling it a steal would not do it justice!!!
This is the kind of deal that gets GM's fired, I like Rob Blake but unless PLD becomes a point a game player by next season Mr. Blake will be on the hot seat for taking 3 guyz out of his lineup that altered his team chemistry in a negative way!!!

Bad trade, then followed it up with a horrible, wishful thinking contract that will remind them of the bad trade for years to come. A long-term commitment to an enigmatic player who has no history of settling in, nor the production to justify the price.
