@Canucks de Vancouver

1. Tocchet has made Green & Bruce look like absolute clowns. Both coaches failed to implement proper systems, accountability, identity. Tocchet started his tenure by literally having them skate to their positions like Bantam kids (because they were so flawed in fundamentals) and look where they are now… Playing air tight hockey with passion and commitment.

  2. Juulsen has been a pleasant surprise. Nothing fancy plays hard nosed hockey, keeps it simple. It’s good to see.

  3. Let’s hope they can keep the pace up after the all star break. They’ve been playing very well.

  4. So many surprises this year, but Hogs has been my favourite surprise. Especially that goal in MSG. His confidence is pinned at the red line and his consistency keeps improving. All the right things are finally happening as they should.

  5. I see these lineup changes as part of the same process up front that led the team to where they are now with the lotto line reunited. Tocchet: "We were just putting stuff in the blender and these are the lines we came up with." To me, the subtext is that coaching and management are trying to figure out what the org's needs and assets are come deadline season. They probably want — but might not actually find — an opportunity to ship out one of our rental D for a pick or prospect that they can send somewhere else as part of a package for a 2F. I don't think they are in a bad position if they stand pat, but this is the kind of move I think they'd like to make.

  6. This season feels like some sorta fever dream, best start ever, five players having career years and setting franchise records, insane shooting percentages, highlight reel goals almost every night, I can't take it!!! ..meow

  7. Stockpiling D is always a wise move as they are prone to injury. Hughes and Hronek have played a ton of minutes and for the Nucks to make a long playoff run, the minutes need to be distributed more evenly, which they are starting to do, same with Miller and Pettersson and the other centres

  8. The Canucks are so smart and the Leafs are so stupid.(and I’m not a fan of either team) Rangers /Canucks Stanley cup final.

  9. Back home in Abbotsford for a visit after 11 years. (I live in AZ) My buddy is taking me to the Abby Canucks Friday night. Can't wait to see the prospects before heading back down south this Sunday. GO (Abby & Van) CANUCKS!!!

  10. Keep the Abby players there… it's not the season to experiment and give other players a chance to prove what they can do in the NHL… unless there are a few injuries

  11. Special place in my heart for podz but honestly why not try him filling in for Kuzmenko as he doesn’t shy away from contact and will do anything to try and win the puck. Podz is a hard working player like Hoglander and the life line

  12. As an Oilers fan, I am very much invested in what the Canucks have been doing. They have been incredible this year. Hats off to them.

  13. The Canucks have been playing so well this season I completely forgot about Podkolzin and Raty . . . man, if they turn out to be decent players the Canucks could be contenders for a few years in a row.

  14. Petey would be the league scoring leader if the Lotto line was intact from the beginning of the season!
    Leave Lotto line alone!
