Hopefully they play a more physical game. Was hoping I’d see a big Kane hit in the corner I sat in but that didn’t happen. Need that physical play to wear them down!
Oilers already have Connor Brown and Gagner as the bottom 6, I don't think Perry is much of an upgrade of those 2 players.
Like I've said before Holland has to get rid of Campbell Broberg and Brown in a trade all at once before looking for some upgrades

Boqvist is a career minus player. Oddly enough he’s +2 on a horrendous Jackets team.
I don’t think the Oilers can afford to give up any defender unless it’s an upgrade defensively.

I think Adam Boqvist would be a upgrade on Cody Ceci yet I think the Oilers would have to definitely consider moving another prospect along with Ceci to get him. I see Ceci trying hard out there but he seems to be showing signs of struggling playing in the top 2 pairings because of the amount of ice time he has to play & his speed has been suspect imo. Maybe he is just showing signs of aging at 30 or whatever he is now.😢
I wouldn’t mind signing Perry to a one year cheap deal just as an extra bottom 6 guy. Can’t go wrong with more depth. When the Oilers face teams like Vegas and Boston tough teams they can throw Perry out there

Perry could be a solid add to the roster this year. If the price is right, he should be a target.

Not sure any moves are going to be made with how they are playing. Trading Ceci for Boquist not sure that works either. Definitely need a stay at home d man. I did notice they moved Janmark down and Brown up to the third line. Looking forward to seeing how that works out, EE waiting for a third line jump start for a few weeks now.

Idk about Corey Perry. Sure it worked with Evander Kane, but I’d hope too learn more on what happened first before signing him. Wouldn’t want him ruining the locker room culture
30C here in Tasmania Australia, but our last hockey rink's been shut down and can't remember the last time we had snow at sea level. I like the idea of Perry if he chooses to come to Edmonton. The Oilers are a good spot to redeem your career and would be much better that he isn't creaming our players for a change. Also, I like Ceci, can take a puck to the face and still play the next shift in the Jacques Plante style.

Perry is the perfect "Villain" we need to complement Kane. Plus he can score. The guy is a hockey player, low-risk high reward. Do it, Kenny!
