@Canucks de Vancouver

I know it’s a meme but it really is the little things.

They definitely had trouble passing in general be Philly before the new year. It’s been better since but I like seeing Tocchet make them work on that even more today. It’s good but not good enough. Must be better especially against Crosby and the Penguins

Tocc is my most fav coach since AV, I was hesitant at first and clearly wrong, glad the guys getting paid to build hockey teams are making decisions instead of me… couldn’t say the same for the benning era though

Kuzmenko out, Tocchet in tonight confirmed.

Guy is a stud. I’d say that we need to protect this man as he puts a bow on a Jack Adams season… Except I highly doubt Tocchet needs any protection at all.

I mean, NHL coach Royal Rumble cage match? Tocchet would be wearing other coaches ears as trophies.

Let’s not forget Tocchett was a very good player in his days. Over 1000 games played and 952 points. He also started his career in Philly and then moved to Pittsburgh where he scored 109 points, more than any Canuck on the roster today, so clearly, the boys respect him a lot.

And little stuff like this is why Rick Tocchet was the coach this team needed. He always looks for ways for the team to get better. He’s been so good at getting the team to focus on the little details of the game.

This is it. Toch is the missing piece. Suit up coach!

The guy was a great power forward with pretty soft hands back in the day

I want to watch this, but refuse to click on a Twitter link.

Tocchet still has it. He was a freaking beast back then.

Typical power forward, good hands and tough as nails. He would score a bunch of goals and then kick your ass while he was at it.
    He was a beast.

People forget the dude has nearly 1000 career points

Plus our coach will beat the fuck out of any coach in the league.

This made me want to search for Tocchet highlights on youtube. Based on the results, you’d think he was an enforcer. The guy liked to fight of course, but was also a highly skilled power forward with excellent career numbers.

I fucking love this guy. He’s bringing the exact identity this team always needed. Cold, ruthless, killer mentality. Tocchet is the guy.

Is there an innovation award? Would have never thought about taping a laser to a hockey stick

I mean, a Sedins-Tocchet line with Foote-Gonchar as D would be pretty awesome.

Are Tocc and Brind’Amour the only active coaches who won a Cup as a player? Both are 50+ and still insanely fit.

    Just built different.
