I would like to see him in a Leaf jersey, he is a warrior in the playoffs. He brings that little bit of something extra when games mean so much, he will drag the team into the trenches where playoff hockey is played. Less rainbows n flowers, more sweat, dirt and passion.
I posted this same comment on another site, so please don't scorch me. I would love to have Corey Perry on the Leafs. He is the kind of player that absolutely makes a difference. He's a Matthew Tkachuk type player that is not afraid of getting into it with anybody, and I love it.
Don't get me wrong… I've hated Corey Perry forever, simply because he was not a Maple Leaf. If he becomes a maple leaf, he will immediately become my favorite person on the planet.
He may have done some stupid things recently due to alcohol, but so what? Just because he's a hockey player, doesn't mean he's different from the rest of us. And I would hazard a guess that the rest of us have some pretty dark, nasty crap in our closets as well…

Seravelli is not a person I would listen to when it comes to inside knowledge. Most of the hockey world can't stand the guy, even his coworkers. Just a rich kid who's previous generation got him where he is. Spoiled and given every opportunity over more deserving people.
