  1. rick was good for the stars i dont think the stars are as good as they are today without cooking under Bowness. hes honest but not needlessly cruel or mean- he cares and it shows. and his men usually reciprocate it- i was sad that it couldnt get him that cup but the thing about honest men- is that they never consider themselves out of it. hes gonna make sure he gives any team in front of him a shot.

  2. Not sure why so many defensemen don't complete their check like at 6:38. Like it doesn't take that extra effort to stand up and put the shoulder into the guy.

  3. Love that style of pressure. Tonight Florida's penalty kill put so much pressure on the Kings it looked like the Kings were shorthanded! This is the true beauty of team sports, when the entire squad buys in.

  4. I have been watching you on and off for a while but really settled in the summer before this season. And can I just say I VERY impressed with how fast you are able to create such high quality content. You sir are truly amazing, keep up the good work!

  5. How many times have we seen teams have super seasons and cave in the playoffs. Regular season means nothing except the points qualify you to enter the playoffs, end of story! Ask the Bruins fans!

  6. I love the Kings, I have for many years but I’ll be honest I do want to see a cup raised in Canada. Y’all are great people and I respect your passion for the game
I love. Really hope you guys get it because you’ve earned it 10x over now

  7. trading PLD was the key factor. This guy used Habs, Habs fan, Habs media to market himself, and of course being French they all bought into it and lead to landing himself a bigger contract in a bigger city. He had no intentions on playing in Mtl, and good I never wanted him to begin with, for his salary cap way better genuine players out there. PLD is NOT worth more than 4m a year at best. Good on Winnipeg, theyve been in the hunt for quite some time. I have my doubts considering my view on NHL and Canada, 30yrs now we're all waiting and now with support for hockey in Canada is at a strong low, coincidentally 2 teams ranking top of leauge. Iff Winnipeg or Van can bring it home that would be great!

  8. IMO the Kings gave the Jets some great players in that trade. The Jets definitely got the better end of the deal.

  9. Greetings from Thailand. As much as I would love to see the Winnipeg Jets win a Stanley Cup, It's only January. My fear is they throw everything they got during the regular season and have no gas left for the second season. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

  10. man i wish the leafs actually had a system like this.
thing is, a system like this does win playoff series. constantly pressure, maximizing opponent mistakes, and just never letting up. thats playoff hockey right there.

  11. Jets vs Canucks is one of the most hyped games of the season to me. The Jets and the Canucks are currently the top 2 teams in the league and they’ve basically done it in opposite ways: Jets are winning by allowing the fewest goals against in the league, Canucks are winning by scoring the most goals for in the league.

It’s straight up the Unstoppable Force vs Immovable Object game, I can’t wait for February.

  12. Also any chance we can get a breakdown on the Canucks offence at some point? The Lotto Line is ridiculous and I need it explained in the way this channel makes so understandable.

  13. And when the Chevy and the Jets add Crosby at the deadline, that is the nail in the coffin, Bettman can suck it, a Canadian team wins the CUP.

  14. And people say Bones is a bad coach. He was right in calling out the team after last year's exit. It was a pathetic performance.

He's a defensive-minded coach, and if he can get the team to buy into to the system, this is what you get. It's may not look pretty, but it is effective. Last year, you saw glimpses of this system, but it wasn't consistent, and too many times, their d-zone breakdowns would lead to prime scoring chances. This is probably as good as they've looked defensively since 2017-18.

  15. Honestly knew they were going to be good the minute they dumped toxic Dubouis and got an insane return. PLD was so overrated

  16. I was at the Jets vs. Lightning game recently. I flew back to Canada to see family, but I wasn't gonna miss out on watching the Jets play while at their peak.

  17. And people were saying Bones is a bad coach. He's a defensive-minded coach, and if you can have all the guys buying into his system, these are the results you can get. It is night and day from last year, as the team defense is consistent. And one of the things that Jody Shelley said on the Blue Jackets telecast was the fact that the Jets are winning games the right way. Last year, even with the hot start, they were lucky in a lot of games and weren't winning them the right way. They won a lot of OT games, and there were numerous games where Helly had to make 35-40+ saves just to give the team a chance. The two Rangers games come to mind, where he had to make 41 and 51 saves.

He was right on in calling out the team last year after getting eliminated. It was a pathetic effort put forth. I'd say they've responded. I was expecting this team to be a bubble playoff team. And to now be the first team to 60 points and having not allowed 3 or more goals in 31 games now is mighty impressive.

  18. As a jets fan I’m just so happy to see them succeed, especially after a tough season last year. All I hope is that they will finally win the Stanley Cup. LETS GO JETS💙🛩️🏒
