LeBrun on Insider Trading talking Reinhart potentially signing for less with Florida since it’s a no-income state tax market: “Sam Reinhart on July 1, with another team, could be worth $10-$11M, but I think it will end up being a deal under Matthew Tkachuk”

I sure hope it’s less than Tkachuk’s lol. He’s not better even though Reinhart was really good last year and insane this year.
Pop the champagne if RINO signs for $9-$9.5m
Give him 9.5 like chucky. He’s a core member of our roster
I saw reinhart and trading in the same sentence and my heart skipped a beat
Pretty sure he’s going to come in at 9.25. It’s an overpayment, but it’s just what it is. He’s not a 10-11m player and anyone who thinks he is, would’ve paid montour 8 mil last year. As it stands montour will take 4-4.5 or not be re signed. Reinhart will never replicate these numbers. It’s a total outlier season. He’s a 75-90 point player. That’s worth 8.5 mil with florida taxes. Will he get more? Yes. Is he worth more? No. Will i be ok with it? Sure. No ones breaking up this group other than ekblad. He’s definitely gone this offseason or next. Montour is probably staying.
Florida has no idea how much of an advantage it has on other teams. Not only is it one of the most beautiful spots in the world with amazing weather, but players can make a lot more money in Florida than other markets.
For example, Nylander at 11.5M AAV makes less take home pay than Tkatchuk at 9.5M AAV.
