   Was he!? I must have missed it in the broadcast. We could probably contribute him to no one running at early years JT but man if there was ever an Islanders I disliked, it’s him. Needless to say I have his game used gloves and a signed picture from a fight he had with Cam Jansenn

   I remember him being a total goon. That one time when there was a huge fight and he’s just at the doorway looking like a psycho. Genuinely miss those days.

   I was sitting close to Gilles at game 6 of last year’s playoffs. He was legit sad that the Isles lost but was nice enough to take a photo with us after the game.

   I told him the second year we had season tickets was his first year with the Isles and he replied, “well you boys have seen some shit”.

   I loved this guy haha–he was also my youngest brother’s favorite player because of his handlebar mustache. I was at the game he scored his first NHL goal. Got the tickets for my birthday and we sat in the second row I think? What a bizarre game that was.

   Going to the 2011 brawl is my earliest hockey memory. My mom brought me and my sister there cause she liked penguins (you can thank club penguin for that)
