NO. Is the Oilers legacy going to become the team where d-bags go to get it together? What if he brings the same problems to Edmonton's dressing room. Dynamics are an apple cart a team does NOT want to upset. They have great chemistry with the guys they have now. Its not only about what kind of skills he'd bring. I hope they don't bring him onboard. He should go back to Anaheim where he belongs. lol

I think it be good you can’t go wrong with depth. Play him in the bottom 6 or play him with Kane that be a power forward line that could cause trouble

IMO, the team should bring up and PLAY Lavoie who's just been named to the AHL All-Star team. Although not a tough guy, he has size and a bit of grit to counter teams who may want to lean on Derek Ryan and Samwise.

If he’s out of control , drinking and has enough demons to get fired from the blackhawks like he did he might not be worth the trouble.
Nobody knows what he did but it is bad enough to be 'Top Secret' and it seems like everybody is willing to ignore whatever issue he might bring to the dressing room.
The guy was -28 last season with Tampa Bay. The next closest guy was -10. Are you kidding me? We have a 38 year old guy Derek Ryan who we love and is a fantastic defensive player and can chip in important goals on occasion. The Oilers don't need this parasite.
