😊😊😊😊😊😊 we'll take them how they come! I believe they played a good game. Wings goalie play great for sure. Pickard was solid for this kind of game. We still need a strong goalie back up for Skinner or leader. Thanks Patrick
The Oilers ran into another hot goalie tonight. Oilers had so many chances but Lyon shut the door until the 3rd period. Other than the 2nd goal, Pickard made the saves when needed.
If not for their goalie this game could have been 6-2 easy. So cool to get the record for 9 wins in a row. Great team to have done it!! Let’s keep it going fellas!
Last 2 games they could have lost after a run but found a way. Start a new run of domination as if they were during their last 8 game run. (I know it’s 9 now)
Bloody wonderful! McDavid's goal made everyone on the Red Wings look stupid – incredible! Lyon played incredibly well, but sorry, no cigar. But Oilers, PLEASE – SHOOT AT EVERY CHANCE!! Several KNOWN facts: 1) You can't win without scoring! 2) You can't score without the puck! 3) No matter how much you pass it around looking pretty, you CAN'T SCORE until somebody SHOOTS the Effing Thing!! The only pretty thing in hockey is the puck on the far side of the goal line!! Nice passing plays etc. are all incidental!! At least they had a good crack at shooting tonight – KEEP IT UP!!

It was no score until 3:34 in the 3rd period when Copp gets an unassisted goal on Pickard on a flyby screen. Connor tied it up at 9:12 assisted by Hyman. Just under 5 minutes later Hyman gets a goal assisted by Nuge (who was great all night) and Ekholm. A little over 2 minutes later Matta baseball's the puck out of the air behind Pickard to tie it up. Right near the end of the period Kane came close but Ryan's handpass so we go to OT. At 1:20 Nurse gets an unassisted Game Winner. Hyman was close, it got turned over then popped out to Nurse and BOOM, 2 points. The Oilers just shot and shot and shot pouring 47 shots on Lyon when Detroit had a total of 17 shots on Pickard and it was like the Oilers were blocking everything sent Pickard's way (until the 3rd period). This was actually an entertaining game. RIP John Short and Robin Brownlee. Take care all.

Run into a hot goalie and still score 3 goals, our goalie was good enough, and they never looked frustrated, professional win, congrats 👏.
Another great goal by McDavid, from keeping the play onside, to no goalie interference using his amazing finesse. An all-around beauty of a goal.
Screen looks better.
That goalie, helluva job.
Wasn't too impressed with the reffing again and luck isn't quite there but the guys are finding a way to get it done… This is good.
La bamba baby
Full expected to get goalied, control most of the play yet somehow loose, but they did quite well! Nurse for Norris!
Lyon was making me very concerned.
What was that coaches' challenge? Strange.
I was hoping for one more point by McDavid, but that Nurse goal was nice.

Glad to hear the boys put more effort into this game. GO OILERS GO!
Knew it would be tough with their 3rd string goalie in..what is it with oilers vs 3rd stringers anyway?
The goal called back I think is bs
