  1. No one is a "former first round pick." You remain a first round pick forever. You wouldn't refer to an actor as a former Oscar winner; they'd just be an Oscar-winning actor.

  2. You can’t get a very good inclination on any top prospects in our farm system by bringing them up to the big club and throw them on the 4th line. You need to give them more playing time and surround t he n with better players.

  3. Leave/keep Reinbacher in Europe for he balance of this season. Let him start in Laval next season so he can adapt to N.A. culture and rink size and Habs/Rocket game systems and see how he is doing at that level. Like you say, no point in rushing ANOTHER young prospect. Don't forget, Defencemen dont usually hit their prime til they are 24 or so, so a year, or two in Laval will let him develop, while Habs suits try to figure out the logjam they already have on the blueline in other prospects and in Laval and on the Habs main roster.

  4. Id love to see them make a trade for isacc howard, hes all the lightning have to offer and he looked like the best player on team usa at times during the world juniors, top line forward

  5. Monahan is a really good player, and a great teammate and leader. That being said he’s also a huge asset for a trade. If they can get a first rounder + more why wouldn’t the Habs trade him? They’re not going anywhere this season and the return could be significant. And if he loves the city sign him next season

  6. Do you know what I think the d line of Hutson and reinbacker could be compared to makar and toews maybe kinda a little lesser version in the future

  7. Sean Monahan and Jake Allen both 50 percent contract value to the Oilers for Jack Campbell and 1st round picks in 2024 and 2025! Do it Kent Hughes rebuild the core with the fundamentals of hockey a reap the benefits of the game. Go Habs Go. 🔮

  8. Who on earth convinced you that it would be a good idea to dye your moustache blonde?

  9. Trade Monahan if you can make sure he signs back in Montreal next year, he’s a very good player and a good veteran for all the kids, go get a NHL ready player for him then bring him back ASAP as soon as he becomes available. The price for him might be high but, he’s worth it the way he is playing.

  10. No premium. Monahan gave the team a deal already. It will be a deal that gives him the chance to win a cup. He would not be playing a prominent role just injury insurance 3/4 line role on a contender. Physically fragile. Not sure about a long physical playoff run.

  11. Yes, yes, yes, please trade Monahan already. Its a win win. Hell if we never had Monahan last year we might actually have Bedard, or at least Fantilli or Carlsson. Same for this year. He is one of the better players on the Habs team, and he accounts for extra wins on the year for us, which amounts to nothing positive for our future. Take the draft pick, and go ahead and sign him again next season if they really want him, and management thinks they can push for the playoffs in the next couple of seasons.

  12. Les Canadiens ont rappelé l’attaquant Joshua Roy du Rocket de Laval. Il rejoindra l’équipe samedi matin.

The Canadiens have recalled forward Joshua Roy from the Laval Rocket. He will join the team Saturday morning.

  13. If you guys keep trashing our 18 and 19 year old prospects, I'm gonna lose my shit. I refuse to be part of a fan base like Toronto. You all think you know more about these kids than the couching staff. You don't! Pathetic and narcissistic! Do you scratch your crystal ball? Witches do that, and from time to time, they get burnt at the stake. Just like the shitty officials that people hate! You're trying to be part of something you're not. People have the right to point that out, but yet you hate it! It's just like a shitty cop. Grow up!
