В целом игра и Баффало неплохо идёт в последние два сезона, а в прошлом так вообще в двух шагах от плей-офф остановку сделали Сейбрс, но…. Sens actually look worse under Jacques Martin. Team needs a major shake up. 2 big pieces need to be traded in order to find a new mix.
Since the brillant decision to put Martin and AlFredo behind the bench, the Sens are 3 and 8. They're farcwirse than when DJ was here. The Team looks completely lost. They are now giving away half the ice! On Buffalo's first goal, they were all lining up around their own blueline! Will anyone ask, what Martin is trying to do and what is AlFredo doing? In the last 5 games Tkachuk is a horendous -8 and -10 for the year. He and others are not doing well with Staios' BOYS behind the bench! Poor Stutzle is lost and he's still 2nd on the Team in scoring. In the 5 games previous the top 5 players were collectively -28…it's much worse after this game. I would rather see the team lose scoring a bunch of goals. They're losing their confidence. The goaltending was awful. Why does Kubalik dress? This Team lost their 1st round draft pick because of incompetence, surly the new management Team can settle on a great Coach, let him pick his Assistants and send AlFredo back glad handing and rubbing elbows at various Galas. The D doesn't punish anyone and the oposition get a free ride. If the Habs don't want Arber Xhekaj, I would love to have him here in Ottawa. Maybe others would then grow a couple inches and put on 20lbs.

The first goal scored by the Sabres when the guy was skating from centre ice and made it past blue line in Sens zone it looks like Tkachuk and Stutzle weren't even trying to get the puck just a poor effort from both of them then allowing him to setup that play in their end and put it in. The 2nd goal Thompson skated all the way from one end of the ice to Ottawa's end and ripped that shot in cause Chabot and Zub both backed up to the faceoff circle allowing him enough space to enter the zone and rip that shot. I'm not done there's more the third sabres goal they were on powerplay and Thompson rips one in from the faceoff circle cause sens penalty kill is garbage and they all huddle in close to the goalie allowing him space to skate in and have a clear shot. Fourth goal that was a bad turnover by Chychrun giving them another goal. Last but not least the Stutzle fumble and turnover for them to put in the empty net this was funny to watch cause it shows just how embarrassing the Sens are Stutzle fumbles the puck then falls then Sanderson tries to steal the puck and falls then Chychrun dives after the puck after the guy already shot it. Sens are getting worse and worse every game and it's just not enjoyable watch anymore cause the outcome is always so predictable with this team
