TMc needs to go. I've felt he was a fraud from the get go and was never worthy of his highest paid salary. Who else was going to hire that guy after he got fired? Ridiculous overpayment. Speaking of insanity, he continually puts the same pairings and defensemen out there in overtime over and over even though it's losing results almost every time.

Whatever, fire Mclelz. Bring in Berube, Sutter, Butter, Blubber, whomever you wish; this is not a Stanley Cup winning team. I don't even think this team can get out of the 1st round. I've been saying that along with how PLD is garbage, and no one will listen until now. Blake is the one to fire, if anybody. How can you give PLD that contrac? I mean…look how much you had to give up to get rid of Cal. You will have to give up 1st round picks for three years to get rid of PLD. Fiala' s is a long contract too and although he is highly skilled, he is more ready for a pond hockey game than an NHL one. I'm telling you right now, Byfield will never be that player. He will maybe be a nice player if he stays out of trouble, but he won't lead a team. The Kings D is still playing fairly well, and Talbot is doing well and that was key to a long winning streak but the goal have dried up. The Kings need Arvie in a big way but the cap situation is a mess. I remember Blake sending Pearson to Pittsburgh for one fast nonscoring Euro seasons ago. That was his big shake-up. It really bothered me because even though Pears was struggling mightly, he gave his all every shift, so i was like: bleh. I guess maybe that type of move is coming. Idk.
It’s simple it’s time go with Clarke…..Dooey is my favorite player all time but his contract is strangling the roster with his cap hit. His ice time is ridiculous it’s 24/7 hogging it up …trade him to Ontario Senators while he still has value. Clarke is in the mold of the all modern special offensive minded defenseman with elite upside and demands Ice time and needed to QB the PP. loosing Two High Picks on waivers is unacceptable …getting Samuel back was luck and Vegas jammed us on Toby Don’t get me started on PL trade , guy is super soft while Winnipeg is still laughing at us. PL already living like a Beach Bum problem is we’re stuck with him. TM isn’t the problem it’s the front office love Blake but he blew it big time on PL. need injection of youth .

T Mac has never won the Stanely Cup. I'll never forget the Sharks round one series back in "14 I believe. The Sharks led by T Mac was up 3-0 to the Kings and lost the series at home 4-3. Come on man. Also, in his second year with the Kings, we were hot for half the season and missed the playoffs as they lost their passion in the second half. He doesn't have the killer instinct to WIN.
I have to see more from PLD. Dude is literally coasting out there on 90% of his shifts and even getting bumped off by other players despite him being “big and strong”.

(I do not want Marco S as coach) Yes at minimum 'this is a PAUL MAURICE moment' is needed by the coach or equivalent. Bringing in a new coach changes the psychology. OR TM needs to change his! Call a timeout within the 6 min to go when the team gets all bound up not losing trust individually, and gameplay and the results. Like many coaches in other sports do – stop the other team's momentum. Give your guys a chance to regroup and maybe offer some ideas or make breakout plans AS A TEAM! How is this data-first team not able to learn from the past? They came up with a template to fix system issues by looking at the PK. They would be looking at a smaller data and video set. Get the analytics (team?) and ask them to come up with a plan to compare data, look at patterns on similar team systems, teams with the mistakes yips, etc. Use A.I. Use it to get/collect outside views, media, coaches, and former players in and out of the organization. Keep Todd out of it. Let him worry about how he can improve in his weak areas. Eddie as always very nicely done! I totally agree with the E-Mail from Mike from Reno but BLAKE and his decisions from day one have been mostly a disaster for the kings organization and the PLD deal is and will be the biggest BUST of LA Kings history if not the NHL history!!! Blake keeps overpaying and overcompensating players and trades and I believe not only TMac but Blake himself are the main reasons for all the problems!
Also Eddie PLD is playing 3rd line center against other teams 3rd and 4th lines and for 8.5 Million for 8 years He should be lighting it up every night no matter who his wings are!

Blah, blah, blah . . . Fire Coach Todd? That's ridiculous. Todd is considered one of the brightest minds among the professional hockey community. Todd McClellan or his coaching staff is NOT the issue. He doesn't skate with the team during the games. He takes the talent he is given, and put's them in the best situations to give them the best possible success. Other teams also have great talent, and great coaching. And like all professional sports, there are winning streaks and losing streaks. The first 20 games, Todd could do no wrong. I didn’t hear anyone calling for his firing then.
If Pierre Dubois scored the overtime goal the other night, instead of hitting the pipe, does Todd keep his job? What if the Kings won the last 4 OT games that they lost? Does Todd keep his job? What if the Kings get back on track and start winning 3 out of every 4 games? Is Todd a genius all of a sudden? Stop being so emotional Eddie. You remind us all the time about your sports media credentials and experience, well act like it. You sound like a highly emotional fan when you call for Coach Todd’s firing.
