Toronto has 4 games in hand, wouldn’t really hold my breath on that one.
We still need to keep the winning streak alive Toronto has 4 games on us and the could and that could come back to bite us if we don’t get a longer win streak or more consistent wins
We’ve also played the most games in the entire NHL. Once the other teams in the east are also at 44 games played, we could drop all the way down to 12th in the Conference with only Montreal, Buffalo, Columbus, and Ottawa worse than us.

Leafs play the Wings tonight. It’s better for the Wings to win but it sucks either way lol
I did see where the first half of the season that we had a top ten hardest schedule and second half top six easiest schedule. The first half of the season was ugly but I always said we collected enough points that we just need to go on a run in the second half. Hoping we can maintain some winning streaks and avoid losing streaks this half.

This is game 44, not game 74. There are plenty of opportunities to keep those win streaks alive for the next few months.
