Trade everybody
Holy fucking shit I miss Barry Trotz.
Both of these teams tonight went on a skid of at least 7 games this year. One was upset about disappointing their fans and responded by having a players-only meeting, coming out strong in the following game. The other told their fans to stay home.
Both of these teams are struggling on the special teams this year. One came up big on both ends tonight despite that. The other did fuck all.
The complacency is disgusting. We need a new fucking billboard.
Every other fucking game we don’t show up or give up a milestone achievement. Embarrassing
Ohhhh this was a milestone game for Fleury, everything makes sense now
I’m glad we are fans of such a giving team. Not only did we hand Fluery the win that makes him the second winningest goalie of all time, but we also gave him a shutout to remember it. Nice Guy Isles baby 🙂
I don’t know why I am so obsessed with this stat, but that is now eighteen games where Isles have given up three (or more) straight goals. They move 1-13-4 in those games and would have blown a lead in eight of them.
5-0 against the wild. you fire the coach for way less
Need to fire Lane…Im sorry.
don’t even bother going to Winnipeg
Fire Lane he has lost the team
Last time Lambert appeared to be in danger the team won a few games to take the heat down. Not sure that happens again
Winning coaches seem to have a personality. They have a presence. Our coach feels like a middle manager at a Pennsylvania insurance company who did a cash out refinance on his house to put in an above ground pool.
Team is lost. If Lame Lambert stays on, season is over. Duh.
Let’s go LL
#FUCK LANE LAMBERT
This team makes it so difficult to support them
Lambert is a symptom of the problem—Lou Lamoriello. He’s had plenty of time to fire Lane, to make such a simple move and have this team snugly in a playoff spot, and instead he just sits back. That’s not to mention our underperforming players that he signed to absurd contracts like Palmieri, Engvall and Mayfield. He brought stability to the franchise and had a good eye for deadline acquisitions, but his run with us is quickly rotting. Does ownership stop investing in this sunken cost, or are we going down with the ship?
How do we convince the owners to step in?
Billboard time? What else could we possibly do that wouldn’t be borderline illegal?
This is happening because the social media team hasn’t been using the lobsters.
Isles:
Dobson-Romanov
Mayfield-Pelech
Dobson-Aho
Jets:
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt
similar group of defensemen, but one is the best in the league and the other is horrendous. it’s beating a dead horse but coaching makes a difference, anyone with eyes sees how bad the defensive structure is
We hung on to Cappy too long, Snow too long and now making the same mistakes with Lambert and Lou. fed up with this organization yet again
We’re still a contender! Just gotta stand pat and we’ll magically turn it around!
Appalling
I have a hold of the assistant to ledecky business card. He said to reach him to go through him. If I get enough comments that want his number/email I will post it here
Ooof level 💯 %
This wouldnt have happened if Aatu Raty were still with us. Pure and fucking simple.
If they dont fire Lambert what are we doing. This team is more talented than this record.
Horvat 2 points in the last 5 games. He needs to play up to his contract. Bad teammates or not, he needs to have a HUGE presence on the ice. I barely hear his name from the commentators and broadcasts except for when he stayed behind while the whole team left to the dressing room. That $8.5 million contract is pretty big for someone who’s invisible lately. We’re playing for a wildcard spot, so not just him who needs to step it up but the whole team also.
How many times have we said this year this is the kind of game that gets coaches fired… and nothing happens.
