  1. Honestly the flyers played great but the blues gave that third period away. That Beezer goal was embarrassing

  2. Fly guys are playing good hockey…in a "rebuild" year. They are young, fast, and tenacious. Incredible.

  3. I knew Torts would be good for this team, but I gotta be honest, I thought they would be bottom 5 in the league. It’s incredible what they’re doing with the players they have. Torts has to be an early Jack Adams favourite. Let’s go Flyers!!

  4. If Drysdale doesn't play Thursday against Dallas (25-12) then we might speculate that Tortorella doesn't like the trade.

He doesn't want to sub experience for inexperience and defense for offense on the blue line. Thats not the way he operates with a team on a roll.

Tortorella can't say to the media that Drysdale is another Dan Boyle level talent while finding ways to keep him out of the lineup.

  5. Edmonton is supposedly the "class" of the league with a 10-0 record in last 10 games.

They have 4 good players and the rest of the team is literally an ahl team including the only goaltender they bother playing at .903 save percentage.

Then we have Boston way up there with ex-flyer James van Riemsdyk in 4th place points on the team when Tortsy wrote him off last year as an old man incapable of playing on any team.

As Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would say "Anybody can coach this team" to a winning record. Look at St Louis and Montreal over .500.
