I love TJ. He’s been the defensive backbone of our team for years. A TJ Brodie stick is the only pro game-used equipment I’ve ever owned. He’s scored 7 goals in a Leafs jersey (which comes out to a little over 2 million dollars per goal) and literally nobody gave a fuck, that’s how valuable his defence was.
I would be less than devastated to see him moved before the deadline if we need to clear space for a blue line acquisition. He’s not been that great this season, and with 5 million more in cap hit we could bring in a legitimate top 4 guy which, and I’m sorry to say it, Brodie hasn’t been this season.
I get not wanting to go down 2 men. But like fuckkkk haha
