Why do they never discuss how bad the defence is & how bad the structure of this team . Leafs will always loose to a team like jets Vegas panthers hurricanes Boston Especially in 7 game series. I have been a die hard Leafs fan my entire life. We true Leafs fans really understand disappointment.
My reason for saying not to worry is because I moved from Belleville Ont to Ostrava Czech Republic in 2022. Look what happened this year, All star game awarded to Toronto, Willy is having a career season, Matthews is back, John still hasn't "declined"……all that is left is the Cup baby!

being a leaf fan from out west, i am frustrated that the leafs won't go for markstrom. i watch this team's games and honestly, the leafs have a better chance at getting something done with markstrom and no nylander than the other way around but they are locked on to this system they are in that has failed year after year.
It was an unlucky bounce off McCabe, after which he stood there like a deer in the headlights. Meanwhile, Matthews floated around unsure of where to be just watching the play unfold hoping the puck comes to him. This is what Leafs' defense has looked like for years.
