How fucking dumb are these guys? And how the fuck do they get paid to spout this nonsense?

  3. Garland68

Yeah I remember watching this, shocked at how terrible their takes were. I swear it’s like they don’t even watch the dude at all.

  4. FickleIntroduction

I didn’t catch this.. but I noticed they talked about him a lot tonight. In a positive way. This take was awful though.

  5. Go_Habs_Go31

Last night was Juraj Slafkovsky’s 19th straight game on the Habs first line btw.

Coach Marty placed him there on Dec. 4 vs. Seattle.

National coverage of sports is always trash, especially if your team is not an obvious championship contender. Remember this when you feel tempted to listen to their coverage of other teams – it is just lowest common denominator drivel.

  7. Physical-Asparagus48

The Sportsnet coverage of the Habs for the 10 games a year they have or whatever is awful. It’s clear the analysts don’t follow the team at all. And Gary Galley always criticizes the team for any mistakes they make, but doesn’t do the same for the opposition. Also praises the other team endlessly, but doesn’t for the Habs…It’s just pure negativity for 3 hours.

  8. Legitimate-Bass68

Sportsnet has the worst announcers and panel. They all fucking suck terribly

  9. Le8ronJames

98.5FM was saying the same thing…Dany Dubé wanted RHP to go on the first.

  10. these guys 100% aren’t watching the habs and someone told them to say that.

  11. slafyousilly

Between the 4 of them you think you could make 1 complete brain, but nope

  12. dillybomb420

The Habs are done dirty by SN and TSN. Both treat the Habs as an afterthought.

  13. DragonfruitPossible6

Honestly the panel is unwatchable and they have nobody on there who has a clue about the game.

  14. DuppySzn97

Thats what happens when your panel is comprised of Luke Gazdic and Jamal Mayers.

  15. Mangoes95

Why would you move arguably the best prospect (he’s still only 19, so that makes him a prospect) in the lineup to the 4th line? Even ignoring the fact that he’s looked better every single game, that’s just bad roster management and development.

  16. tastesoff74

Sportsnet is a fucking joke! A bunch of Leaf fan boys who just swing on Leaf nutsack 24/7/365!

  17. theflower10

This is why I PVR all games and start watching an hour late. I can skip the commercials, first and second intermissions and join the game live in the 3rd. Lets me avoid these morons AND the constant gambling commercials.

Its clear none of those 4 idiots have been watching Habs games . Slaf has been a very noticeable and positive addition to the #1 line. You notice him almost every shift

  18. DangerDavez

I can’t stand these buffoons. I just swapped to the Raptors during the intermission.

If they really suggested moving Slaf down, it’s clear they don’t watch the Habs and they have no clue what they are are talking about. They probably just looked at his stats and thought he was holding the other two back.

Slaf is a key cog on that line. Suzuki wouldn’t have 17 points in 19 games without Slaf’s defensive play and forechecking (and that’s not a knock on Suzuki).

  19. Little-Aide-5396

I wouldn’t take Luke Gazdic advice on anything related to actually playing hockey. Fighting and being a 4th line plug? Maybe

  20. valleyrymes

What the hell are they smoking? Slaf has played his best stretch of games since being promoted. I don’t even get the question

  21. Snow-Wraith

It’s sportspeafs, they only care about one team. They are a local station masquerading as a national broadcaster.

  22. CrashTestMummies

The broadcast wasn’t 3 min old when one buffoon said something about Caufield not scoring a first period goal in X amount of time … he fucking scored in the first period in the previous game.

I don’t check out Sportsnet often but watched 2 min of this panel and was turned off real quickly and went back to RDS

  23. These clowns only look at the stat sheet and when they break down why the leafs loose every year it’s the same thing. Gretzky once said in an interview he never judge how he played a game based on his goal or point’s total just on how many chances he created saying some of his best games he got nothing and he had lousy games where he got 3 goals only on those 3 chances. These clowns would call his play bad on pointless night and then claim how great he was on a 3 goal game night where he played bad because they base it all on the outcome or stats

  24. CitronEither3674

MFW I am an Anglo-habs fan and exclusively stream RDS because the experience kicks the shit out of any other option.
