It would have been so good to win that one, especially since we were leading, but at least we got a point out of it. It gets us one point ahead of the Blues with the same number of games played, and it keeps us on track to tie the Predators if we win our next two (one of which is against them).
The penalty was so preventable at the end there. I appreciate Cooley’s hustle (even though he sent that breakaway over the net), and he had some great backchecking, but the shift doesn’t end until you get off the ice. Gotta give like three more seconds of effort to make sure you’re over those boards.
Love this team, just wish we would stop getting in our own way. Glad we got the point though, plus a Cooley goal always makes me smile.
Heartbreaking loss. Boys played some of the best hockey all season for two and a half periods. Hope schmaltz injury isn’t bad, seems to miss time every year.

Should’ve won that one, actually unbelievably frustrating. At least they’re still playing meaningful games I suppose but fuck that sucked.
