Every top contending team in hockey starts with a spine. By spine I mean a top of the league goalie, a top of the league defenseman, a top of the league centreman, a top of the league winger. Built around the spine are strong character players, penalty killers, fast forecheckers, big strong stay home defensemen. This leafs team has blown it's salaries on expensive forwards leaving next to nothing in salary for quality defensemen, penalty killers, and goalies. Can't win real games when it matters most. Can't compete in the playoffs.

I attended that game and it was electric in there. I thought for sure the Oilers were due for a lose, but pulled it off in the end. Crazy night with the back and forth play and cheering for both teams. Edmonton and Toronto the two biggest hockey towns for sure!

Offsides is the most basic whistle in hockey, why do the refs never blow offsides, are they blind, it's always replay of goals, they gotta be on top of that.

The D of the leafs is terrible in front of the net no coverage. Last 4 games 2 goal leads and couldn't get the win. Keefe will take the fall for the top paid guys who didn't take a discount in order to sign better players.
