If Schiefele breaks his arm in Game 1 Round 1, is the season over?

    Yes we need center depth.

Both those guys aren’t it. Not into either.

Brock Nelson would be a good fit

I thought Perfetti has a lingering wrist issue and can’t take faceoffs regularly?

Is Crosby available? Lmao wST seems to think so…

    Imagine if Backlund was available

How about that Brian Little guy? 😁
Hit too many goal posts, but I loved that guy in non-homo way. Hope his everyday life is ok nowadays, was a shitty way to end a career

Vlad’s done well at 2C, my only nitpick is that his faceoff numbers are pretty underwhelming for a centre(38%), I think if you could add another middle six centre who can win faceoffs to shift Vlad down or to the wing, that would be ideal. Haven’t seen enough of Perfetti/Vilardi at centre to have confidence they’d do well there should an injury arise. Adam Henrique was someone I mentioned on another post, strong on draws (53%), used on both special teams units and is on pace for 20g-40+Pts.

I honestly feel like Chevy is going to pull an under the radar 2C trade like he did Stastny.

If Verbeek is done with Zegras he could be a great addition to the core, rather than a pure rental.

Another name I’m not hearing is Granlund out of San Jose. Similar to Nino last year, a 1.5 year rental. He’s having a pretty good year offensively considering the team he’s on.

We need a big physical second line D man too

Chevy likes to operate in the shadows.

I’m wondering if he would target nick bjugstad. 1 year left after this one, and he’s making 2.1m. right handed center.

Right now he has 26 points in 42 games.

My ultimate dream, although the chances he’s available and doesn’t have Winnipeg on his 8-team NTC are <5% would be Boone Jenner from the Blue Jackets.

If Philly completely falls off (which I can’t see happening) and they decide to embrace a rebuild Konecny would also be amazing.

Norris seems like a piece the Sens could move for the right price but I don’t think his contract works.

Stamkos is the obvious big fish if he becomes available but again, not likely to happen.

Altogether there aren’t a ton of huge needle movers that will probably be available at center, and the ones who are will probably have teams like Colorado and Boston bidding the price way up, although we have prospects to offer they can’t compete with.
