Unfortunate to see morin and honzek have not dominated like we were hoping. Another stat for lipinski, he is one of only two centers in whl with 500+ faceoff wins this year

Honzek has had such a truncated season so far, 11 in 9 is not bad at all. Morin’s points could be better, but I haven’t watched him so I can’t explain what’s going on – hopefully he is working on other parts of his game. He is still the highest-scoring defender on a pretty good team. I can’t find stats but I’ve read that he plays very heavy minutes as well.

I think Lipinski will make a trilogy with Stromgren and Ciona of bigger guys who need AHL time to figure out the pro game. Potentially a future fourth line, as Lipinski’s faceoff numbers scream pro centre. Honzek and Lipinski on the Wranglers next year would be nice.

Suniev’s season is really great. He is the youngest skater on his team, and the second-highest-scoring forward (fourth overall). I think if we give him the right development runway and get him going with our skating coach after next season, he could be a 20g+20a player in the middle six for us.

I’m worried about Poirier. Is he expected to recover? There’s been complete radio silence on him.

    >He now has more goals for the Wranglers than Connor Zary.

    Uhh…

Why does the writer has Zary listed as in the AHL? He hasn’t been down there for quite a while…
