The Stars have a serious defensive problem which is only exasperated by the absence of Miro Heiskanen. But the problem is much deeper than that. After dominating a tired LA Kings two nights ago, a fully rested Stars team did the inexcusable tonight and just let the Flyers outplay them at every turn. Stupid mistakes, half-hearted clearing attempts, and barely any shots on the other goal. They have some serious consistency issues that need to be fixed if they want a chance at the cup this year.
I did not think, when I jumped to watching the Flyers after the Phillies lost in the NLCS, that I would be watching such quality hockey from a "rebuilding" team I had zero expectations for. This has been such a delight of a season so far.

These boys looked unbeatable tonight. Great job Fly guys. Wow they looked special tonight. You can see the teams confidence building more and more each game. Bad turnover in the 2nd that led to the stars goal but other than that one mistake they played a flawless game tonight.
